Our former long-time director of the Institute, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Drs. h.c. Gallus Rehm, died on 27.08.2020 at the age of 95 years in Munich.
Prof. Rehm headed the former Research and Materials Testing Institute for Civil Engineering (FMPA) - Otto-Graf-Institut from 1973 - 1990. Under his leadership the IWB was spun off in 1980, which he also headed until 1990.
We will honour his memory.
